These inspirations have propelled Joe Armand to this moment in time. A traditionally trained pianist and self-taught guitarist, Joe pooled these influences and created his debut album of original material - Reality is a Rumor.

RIAR is a collection of 10 songs written and recorded in 2007. In truly "indie" fashion, the album was recorded by Joe in his apartment with minimal technical savvy and maximum heart and soul. The result was a group of accessible acoustic-pop-rock tunes that connect with people of many musical tastes.

After years of kicking around the coverband scene of Connecticut and western Mass, Joe's newfound desire to write original music is here to stay. In the meantime, you can find him playing solo-acoustic shows consisting of original material and mainly covers.
